Safe Room / Toxic Free AreaWith the threat of chemical or biological attack facing urban areas, many building owners are looking for methods to offer an appropriate level of protection for their building’s occupants at a reasonable cost and without disrupting current building activity.Hunter offers a variety of filter systems designed for the creation of Safe Zones within buildings and structures from chemical and biological attacks. It is designed to positively pressurize inner rooms such as a large office, a conference room or preferably a restroom to prevent infiltration of toxic fumes into the protected zone. This system is designed to furnish a high level of CBRN (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) protection without altering or adversely impacting a building’s existing HVAC system. The systems are designed to operate as a stand-alone solution that employs our state-of-the-art local filtration technology that over-pressurizes small spaces. These system uses ultra-high efficient carbon absorbers designed and tested similarly to the rigid standards established by the US Army’s Chemical, Biological Command (SBCCOM). Additionally, the PressureAir™ system contains a 99.97% efficient HEPA filter to prevent infiltration of biological agents or other harmful particulates. These systems use technology developed for the nuclear industry. And takes advantage of our experience working with the US Government to furnish high efficiency and highly reliable carbon adsorption and HEPA filtration systems for this application.
