General Product Description:
The HF100C is the civilian version of the US Army M48A1 100 cfm gas and particulate filter canister manufactured by Hunter.

The M48A1 CBRN filter canister is the most versatile and easy to use CBRN filter in wide use by the U.S. Military and its allies today. Its 100- cfm medium airflow rating and its modularity make it ideal for positive pressure systems in vehicles, vans, and mobile shelters. Tested, qualified, and field proven, the M48A1 filter set is currently used in a variety of applications, including the M1 Abrams tank, the M2A3 Bradley, the C2V, and the CBPS. The M48A1 is also the filter employed on the M93 and its civilian counterpart the HF100C is used with Hunters H100GPFU filter system used on HMMWV-mounted command and control type shelters like the S788.

The HF100C is a self-contained filter, with both the gas and particulate filter elements housed in one canister. This limits exposure to toxic gases and particulates when removing an HF100C. This simplicity and its 28.8lb (12.9kg) weight allow for one person to easily handle the filter.

The HF100C employs a glass micro fiber particulate medium per MIL-F-51079. The particulate medium removes biological agents, chemical agents in aerosol form, and radioactive particles and is 99.97% efficient for particles of .3 microns. The HF100C utilizes ASZM-TEDA 12x30 activated carbon to adsorb toxic warfare agents in vapor or gaseous form. The filter canister is packed in a hermetically sealed shipping container for transport and long-term storage.

Hunter Manufacturing Company filters are assembled and tested using strict lot controls to ensure product quality. Each production lot of filters is sampled for live agent testing. These controls provide you with the highest quality chemical biological protection available today.
