General Product Description

Single M23A1/M24 filter set is used to provide positive pressure in vehicles such as the MLRS. Multiple M23A1/M24 filter sets are used to provide over pressure protection in shelters such as with the M18, 300-cfm filter system.

The M24 particulate filter employs a glass micro fiber particulate medium per MIL-F-51079 with pleated aluminum separators. Air initially passes through this media, before moving to the gas filter element. The particulate medium removes biological agents, chemical agents in aerosol form, and radioactive particles and is 99.97% efficient for particles of 0.3 microns.

The M23A1 gas filter uses ASZM-TEDA carbon to remove toxic agents in gaseous and vapor form not removed by the particulate media. This filter set has a panel construction, which makes it a denser package then equivalent radial flow filter and suitable in limited space area. Although presented as a set these filters are shipped individually and can be ordered individually.
