HUNTER MANUFACTURING TENT HEATER
DEEMED A SUCCESS
(December 14, 2005; Solon, Ohio) - After the recent opening of the new manufacturing facility dedicated to the production of the Large Capacity Field Heater (LCFH), Hunter Manufacturing Company's self-powered heater has become one of the safest, most reliable outdoor heaters available in today's market.
"We take the safety and reliability of our heaters very seriously," said Jack Custer, vice president of sales and marketing. "When designing heaters, Hunter makes sure adequate, fail-safe ventilation systems are in place, along with safe setup, fueling and refueling procedures, and fuel storage mechanisms."
The Hunter LCFH provides 350,000 BTU/hr of clean, uncontaminated, heated air to a tent or enclosure, and can be started at temperatures as low as -40 degrees Fahrenheit unassisted. Located outside of the tent, the LCFH is ideal for heating a wide variety of military tent systems, and features a remote control, internal thermostat, CO detectors and uses all grades of diesel fuels, including the military's JP8 (jet fuel). Air ducts attached to both the input and output air supply, allow the LCFH to be run in 100 percent re-circulation mode.

Hunter Manufacturing Company is also in the middle of a 10-year contract to build the LCFH for the United States Army.
